Joan Faulkner war schon mit drie Jahren im Gospelchor ihres Vaters in der Gemeinde in Indiana zu höhren. Ihr dunkles Timbre und ihre Liebe zu Gospel, Blues und Jazz brachten ihr 1989 die Wahl zur besten Sängerin Des Jahres in Deutschland ein. Als Opener war sie MIT Ray Charles und Percy Sledge auf Tournee, in Front liess sie ihre Stimm-Macht u.a. bei den Big Bands von Peter Herbolzheimer und Al Jarreau wirken. Ihr Showtalent bewies sie auch bei Ausflügen in die Fernsehwelt als "Krankenschwester Ella" in der "Klink unter Palmen".
Joanne Bell erweitert den Dreiklang um eine warme, ausgebildete Stimme. Wie Joan Faulkner begann sie ihre Karriere bereits als kleines Mädchen, bereicherte ihre Opern- und Broadway-Repertoire stufenweise um die Kunst der Improvisation. MIT Cynthia Utterbach produzierte sie und schrieb das Jazztheather-Stück "Bessie und Billie".
Cynthia Utterbach wurde in Deutschland bekannt, als sie 1994 für die Musicalproduktion "Buddy Holly" nach Hamburg kam. Die Dozentin fühlt sich wie ihre grossen Vorbilder Billie Holidayund Ella Fitzgerald der klassischen. Jazz, Blues, Gospel und "Back-to-the-roots"-Music. MIT ihrer Band veröffentlichte sie zuletzt ihr Album"Close your Eyes".

Joan Faulkner was only three years old when people began hearing from her as a member of her father's gospel choir in Indiana. Her dusky timbre and love of gospel, blues and jazz combined to earn her the 1989 Singer of the Year award in Germany. She has toured with Ray Charles and Percy Sledge as opening act, and put her powerful voice out in front of the big bands of Peter Herbolzheimer and Al Jarreau, among others. Television appearances as "Sister Ella" in the series "Clinic Beneath the Palms" stablished her as a talented actress.
Joanne Bell adds a warm, well trained voice to the vocal trio. Like Joan Faulkner, she began her career while a little girl, using the art of improvisation to enrich her opera and broadway repertoires Together with Cynthia Utterbach, she wrote and produced "Bessie and Billie", a jazz-theater play.
Cynthia Utterbach was introduced to Germany in 1994, when she arrived in Hamburg for a role with the musical "Buddy Holly". A workshop lecturer, she has been inspired by classic jazz, blues, gospel and "back to the roots" music from the greats she admires, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Most recently, she and her band released the album "Close your Eyes".
